This was our first experience at The PeakFest as a family. We have lived in Apex for quite a few years, but finally took the plunge and made it to PeakFest. We started our morning off at The Apex Rotary Breakfast and ate some delicious pancakes and bacon. Let me tell you…they were very tasty!
After our bellies were full, we took the walk past all of the vendors. We checked out the many tents with items from birdhouses to wall decor. There were onesies and bibs, some hair bows, and some awesome coasters with your college team on them. They had a kids section with inflatable slides, bubbles, side walk chalk, and some delicious food trucks, like Kona Ice and Fresh Ice Cream. If you were hungry, there was something to fill you up.
On our final stop of the day, we stopped in to Borgert Family Chiropractic and had some nerve scans done. We found out we need a lot of work (but that’s for another post 😉 ). There were stages on both ends of the street as well as in the middle providing music and dance. It was a pleasant morning causing up and down Salem Street and checking out everything the Peak of Good Living has to offer. If you haven’t been before, definitely plan to next year! You can’t go wrong with food, shopping, and music!
